Foz do Iguaçu, a city in the Brazilian state of Paraná. Stretching for 2.7km, and straddling the border with Argentina, the falls comprise hundreds of cascades, including the 80m-tall Devil’s Throat. It divides Brazil with Argentina. If you look at the photos, I am on the Brazilian side on the left, and the falls shown on the photos from the right side is Argentinian part of Iguazu. The Iguazu River rises near the city of Curitiba. For most of its course, the river flows through Brazil; however, most of the falls are on the Argentine side. The first European to record the existence of the falls was the Spanish conquistador Álvar Núñez Cabeza de Vaca in 1541. The photos of Iguazu taken on February 17, 2018 during the rain.
